Dr. George Sleeba is the Former Chairman and Managing Director of FACT Ltd, a multidivisional corporation with more than 2100 crores turnover and 4000 employees - the biggest Central Public Sector Undertaking in the State of Kerala.
A Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with First Class honours from Kerala University and M Tech in Industrial Engineering from IIT, Madras, Dr. Sleeba has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from All India Management Association (AIMA) and Doctorate in Social Sciences from the Cochin University of Science & technology (CUSAT). He has undergone a three month Senior Management programme as a Colombo Plan Scholar in UK organised by the British Council and holds a certificate in Training & Development from the Institute of Training & Development, UK.
Dr. Sleeba has a unique combination of proven managerial competence and academic excellence. He has more than 38 years of outstanding performance contribution to the industry in various functional areas of management, of which 30 years have been in FACT in senior management positions such as General Manager, Executive Director, Technical Director and as Chairman & Managing Director. He has been the Managing Director of two State Govt Undertakings of Travancore Cements Ltd and Travancore Sugars & Chemicals Ltd. He has also served as a Consultant to the Govt of Kerala for revival of sick units in the Public Sector. He is a member of the Industrial Relations Board of the Govt of Kerala.
Dr. Sleeba is recognized as a turnaround specialist, credited with transforming the ailing fertilizer giant, FACT into a growth oriented, diversified, profit making company. In recognition of his contribution to the Industry, he has been awarded the Lal bahadur Shastri National Award for outstanding performance, Padmashree Paul Pothen Award for professional excellence, Merit Award from FACT for outstanding performance and Merit Certificates from Travancore Rayons for innovative suggestions on cost reduction.
Along with his industrial career, Dr. Sleeba pursued his academic career also and has been actively involved as a guest faculty for MBA programmes of various Institutes and as a Management Trainer for various Professional Bodies such as Kerala Management Association, National Institute of Personnel Management (Kerala Chapter) and Kerala State Productivity Council. He has been a faculty for the Management Development programmes organised by various professional bodies, Management Institutes and industrial organizations in the State and has been active for more than two decades in the Training & Development field. He was also the Head of the Management Development Centre of FACT, responsible for the training and development of more than 2000 managerial personnel of the company.
Dr Sleeba is presently in the Academic Advisory Council of various Management Institutes in the State.
As a recognition of his professional excellence, the All India Management Association (AIMA) has conferred its Fellowship to Dr. Sleeba during its 14th convocation at Delhi, for outstanding contribution to Industry and society. The National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), the apex body of HR professionals in the country has also honored him with its Fellowship for outstanding contribution to the HR profession.
Dr. Sleeba has also served as the Chairman of the Southern Region of the Fertiliser Association of India (FAI), the representative body of fertilizer manufacturers in South India. He has been the Chairman of National Institute of Personnel management (Kerala Chapter) and the Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering (Kerala Chapter). He has also served as the convenor of HR panel of CII and participated in various seminars and conferences organised by the management Institutes and professional bodies. He is in the Managing Committee of Kerala Management Association, Centre for Management Development, Trivandrum and the Kerala State productivity Council.

Dr. George Thomas, MMM, MBA, M.Phil, Ph.D

Dr. George Thomas, who has served as Principal, professor and Dean at various reputed colleges at Bangalore has taken over the charge as Professor and Dean @ AIM. He has also served the corporate world in India and abroad in various capacities in companies like Hercules Engineering Industries Limited, Al-Mintak Est. Saudi Arabia etc.
He has presented many papers at the National and International seminars on Customer Relation Management, Foreign Trade, International Marketing, Tourism Strategies and Allied Management subjects of which a few of them has won awards Nationally and Internationally. He is the pioneer personality in India who has ventured Industry Integrated MBA programmes and is also the Visiting Professor at Annamalai University, Alagappa University, Madurai Kamaraj University, Mysore University, Bangalore University, Bharathi Dasan University, Sidhartha University, Tumkur University.

Dr. Titus Correya is a PhD. in Economics with specialization in 'Informal Sector'. He has over 30 years of teaching experience in the Department of Economics in St. Albert's College Ernakulam, during which he also served as the Vice Principal for the last three years of his service.

Mrs. Shiny CM has taken MBA degree with specialisation in Marketing Management from Calicut Univeristy and PGDHRM from IGNOU. She has a few years of experience in the industry and over 10 years of experience teaching in reputed B-Schools. She has organised a number of seminars with industry linkages. She has attended several Faculty Development Programmes conducted by various institutions. Currently she is pursuing Doctoral Degree.

Mr.Sajeev.C.S is an M.B.A with specialisation in Marketing and Finance. He is also an M.A in English from Calicut University. He has an experience of over 11 years in the industry and teaching fields. He has occupied various positions in the field of marketing especially as sales executive in various organizations. He was City-in-Charge of the Kannur division of Punwire Mobile Communications Limited. He was a lecturer in the University of Calicut and also the Head of the Management Department at a reputed College at Kozhikode.

Mr. Gopesh is basically an Engineering Graduate in Industrial Engineering & Management and a Masters’ degree holder in Business Administration in Marketing. He is anticipating the achievement of M. Phil in Management studies. His experience of over 11 years is a true blend of Corporate and Academia.
Gopesh’s professional associations with Multi-National Companies like Hindustan Coca-Cola, HSBC Bank Ltd. and TATA AIG Life Insurance Co. Ltd. at Executive level through Managerial capacities have exposed him to the FMCG, Financial Services, Life Insurance and Investment sectors of the Indian cosmopolitan markets including Bangalore. His areas of work included Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Distribution Management and Corporate Training. His affinity towards academics persuaded him to take up teaching assignments at renowned institutions in and outside Kerala.

Mrs. Sangeetha J, MCA

Sangeetha J holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Applications from Annamalai University, Chennai and has an experience of 7 years in the field of Information Technology. She has specialized in object oriented approaches to network and platform development and extensive background in full life-cycle of software development process including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, debugging and maintenance. She served as software engineer under various financial enterprises and educational consultancies. In the field of academics she has undergone various courses like Data Warehousing, Data Mining, Business Intelligence, Marketing Research and other IT & System specialization papers.

Mr.Rahul Menon R., MBA

Mr. Rahul has done Masters in Business Administration from MG University and is pursuing Msc Psychology from Madras University. Rahul has more than 7 years of experience in industry and academics. His experience has catered to the domains of Human Resource Management and Administration with organizations in India and abroad. His major roles and responsibilities were related to Recruitment, Employee relations, Career planning & Development and Training functions.
Rahul has conducted various soft skills and behavioral training camps in different organizations that has helped their smooth functioning. He joined AIM in September 2011 and has been in charge of the boys Hostel too.
